Izinga Holdings has overseen the successful completion of a 10Ml clear water reinforced concrete reservoir. This is part of the Phobane Water Treatment Works upgrade from 20Ml/day to 80Ml/day, within the KwaHlokohloko SSA1 Water Supply Scheme implemented by King Cetshwayo District Municipality. The new clear water reservoir will have ample capacity to store treated water and will provide bulk water supply to over 100 000 people, 104 schools and 6 hospitals within Kwahlokohloko and Eshowe supply areas. The team on site ensured maximised labour-intensive construction techniques through which the local workers within the communities benefited from the project implementation.
